Debbie Evans, B.A.

Debbie Evans came highly recommended to our practice in 2005 from Overland Park, Kansas. A native of the south, Debbie spent her youth in Tennessee and Florida before living in Kansas for 15 years. It was in Kansas that Debbie developed a love for the Kansas Jayhawks, and that has made her increasingly aware of her potentially hostile surroundings in Chapel Hill where she lives. Debbie brings a wealth of energy and enthusiasm to Wainright and Wassel DDS. Affectionately known around the office as “Devans”, she is our official party planner, business manager, personal assistant to the doctors, practice transition supervisor, and vice president of the corporation. She has extensive training in all things dental: including dental insurance, practice management, Mercer Mastery, clinical 4-handed dentistry, and dental implant training from Nobel Biocare. Debbie is also a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers. Devans is a mother of 2 children, Ryan, a recent graduate of law school, and Brittany, a registered nurse. Debbie enjoys spending time with her family; her husband, Ron and her dog, Emma, and she has recently bought a set of clubs and picked up golf!

Debbie Harrell is a Florida native who, after 35 years, now calls North Carolina ‘home’. Debbie is a single mom of a beautiful daughter, Taylor. A graduate of Wake Technical College, Debbie brings a wealth of knowledge to the team with over 15 years of experience in dentistry. Armed with her unmistakable “southern draw”, Debbie is essentially a self-trained insurance and procedural “guru” who can answer almost any question related to the finances in our practice. In her spare time, Debbie works in her garden, or goes to the Garner Country Club to work out or swim. Debbie is also an active member of the Parent-Teacher Association at Taylor’s school.
Jacqueline Cecconi

A native of the Big Apple, Jackie brings a lot of solid pragmatism to our team. A graduate of Leesville High School and alumnus of NC State University, she moved to Raleigh in the early 90’s and has been in patient care ever since college. Jackie is an invaluable asset to our team for her uncanny ability of knowing almost every patient’s name and memorizing nearly every patient’s phone number. Jackie is truly ‘in touch’ with the patients in our practice. When she isn’t busy working, Jackie enjoys traveling, yoga, and tasting fine wines. Jackie is a member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Wake County, Meals on Wheels, and the Raleigh Food Shelter.

Originally from West Hills, California, Jessie is a 12-year native of Raleigh. A graduate of Millbrook High School in 2001, and the daughter of a medical doctor, Jessie brings a lot of enthusiasm and natural talent to our team. Her background in patient care includes her specialization in Russian Medical Massage at AEMC School of Massage in Raleigh. Jessie is also board certified in Oriental Massage and Body Work from the School of Healing Arts in Raleigh. When Jessie isn’t busy cooking Italian delicacies, or dabbling in nostalgic memorabilia, she is working on predicting the future with her intuition and through the practice of astrology.
