Heather Mears, R.D.H.

Originally from Barre, Vermont, Heather Mears came south to Raleigh with her husband in 2006. Heather’s educational background includes Spaulding High School, and the University of Vermont, where she obtained her applied science degree in dental hygiene. Equipped with the most delicate touch, Heather is a true professional in patient care. She has exceptional attention to detail, which is an important quality for a dental health care provider, and a quiet and comforting voice. Her skills extend beyond dental hygiene as she is an accomplished baker of fine desserts and breakfast sweets! Heather is a lifetime member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, the North Carolina Dental Hygienists’ Association, and a previous affiliate of the membership development program of the Vermont Dental Hygiene Board. In her spare time Heather likes to spend time outdoors with her husband, Brian, her son, Mason, and her dog, Oakley.
Kristin Roy, R.D.H.

Kristin Roy left her hometown in 2007 when she moved to Raleigh from Princeton, WV. An avid college football fan, Kristin fits right in at Wainright and Wassel DDS because she brings her pride for the West Virginia Mountaineers! Kristin received her B.S. in dental hygiene in 2006 and was awarded Suma Cum Laude for her achievements in professional school! Kristin brings a fresh outlook to comprehensive oral health being board certified for local anesthesia, and she was also the 2006 recipient of the West Virginia Dental Hygienists Association Award. Currently Kristin is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association, Sigma Phi Alpha – Honors Society in dental hygiene, and sings in the Summit Church Choir.

Christine is originally from Mattoon, Illinois. After a six year stay in the Outer Banks of North Carolina she made her way to Raleigh and has been in this area for almost a decade. Christine is a graduate of Lakeland College in 1991 with a degree in Applied Science for Dental Hygiene. With almost two decades in patient care, Christine brings a lot of experience and skill with her to the practice. A true professional in patient education, Christine takes time to carefully explain what she will be doing for every patient, and she is a great listener. She is a lifetime member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and a volunteer for Wake Smiles charity dentistry. When Christine isn’t busy treating patients, she spends her time reading, and taking care of her daughter, Lane.
Ashleigh Ferrell, R.D.H.

Ashleigh is a lifelong native of the piedmont area of North Carolina. Originally from Garner, NC, she attended Garner High School and Wake Technical College for an Associate of Arts in history. Ashleigh’s skill with patient care and patient education are due in large part to her exceptional training during her degree in dental hygiene from Wayne Community College through an Associates degree in Applied Science. Ashleigh is a lifetime member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and a volunteer for Wake Smiles charity dentistry. In her spare time, Ashleigh loves spending time with her family, being outdoors or near water, and she has a profound love for animals, music and history!
